Getting ready to go to our first Geocache event!

We have been doing Geocaching for about six months and in that time we have found around 145 different caches, placed 10 regular caches and have sent out around 10 trackables. We have also got a Black Volkswagen Beetle and two Geo dogs (Freddie & Sammy) that are also discoverable.
During our holiday in Norfolk we came across an Event cache that was being organised for Saturday 20th August 2011. The event was being called " A Day at the Sea Side!" which had been created by Norfolk12. Both Young PinkFlash (Melanie) and myself (Peter) were quite interested in attending this event. Unfortunately the event was taking place when we were going to be back at home in Hertfordshire.
After a lot deliberation, we decided in was too good to miss! The caravan where we normally stayed when in Norfolk was already booked. We had no choice but to look into other options. Finally we decided that we would take a tent and camp.
I booked a place at Digleys in Snettisham and booked to stay until Sunday!
Two days of camping and a event cache! We are really looking forward to it. Watch this space for further updates of our weekend!
